Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Well, sadly the course curriculum is quite old and not advanced. But we can manage by learning new practical things on our own by persuading skills and attending workshops. The theory practical part is great but they don't give practical approaches which will be needed in future for getting jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bcom hons is 4 year graduation course with a nominal fee structure as it is govt college i.e Delhi University(Mata Sundri College). Total Course Fees is around Rs1Lakh with Rs 25000 per year.. The fees of other categories like sc st are same but anyone can apply for fee concession if their annual income is less than the required criteria of the college.

Campus Life

3.5

The overall experience of my college is decent. The crowd is nice, the societies are fun and knowledgeable. The campus life is good enough to have a good quality time. The labs and other technology are well- managed. Curriculum activities like dancing, singing is offered and the auditorium is full of glance when the students perform. Made a lot of memories and looking forward to make more.

Admission

I have chosen this college because it is a govt college and it offers a 4 year graduation programme which help us to get more knowledge about the subjects. There are also some side courses called General Elective, SEC or VAC which help us to gain knowledge in other fields as well for instance digital marketing, creative writing etc. I couldn't make up to other college because they are private colleges with strict attendance and I wanted the college with low attendance possibility so that I can focus on my self development. The college admission process starts with a exam called Cuet in which lakhs of student apply and I get the college in general category which is a big deal.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are nice. They are supportive and help the students in every possible manner. I like the commerce faculty members because they are friendly and easy to approach. The main exams happen 2 times are year called semester exams. Mostly students are able to pass the exam.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}

Because it is well reputated and the provide alot of opportunities which help us to excel in future with a nominal fee structure. Furthermore it's a government college which helps the students in getting placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

From the first year itself. * Companies such as Delloite, Genpact, KPMG and many more tier A, tier B and tier C companies visits to our campus. *Highest Package is 21 laks PA * Average is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs * Being in the placement cell i can assure you that there are n number of profiles offered. * Obviously planning to getting placed through the college itself.
