Likes

Our college has a very open space and very connected to nature.
Along with that, I really like the diversity of students here.
The small batch of students ensures widespread of opportunities among a small batch of students

Dislikes

Seniors are not very helping and do not help much.
Highly competitive environment which leads to feeling of distress.
A person is deemed stupid if he doesn't have any society. Its like society in a way decided our worth which I find really ridiculous.

Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum is more focussed on finance which is one of the major reason I opted for it. Along with that, the various society exposure really prepares us for the outside corporate world, which we will need after graduating from college. The exams are held once every semester, and according to me if you study decent, you can pass easily.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My total course fee is 24000 per semester. This includes all other charges which are related to admission. Along with that, we are bound to pay a charge of around 3000(varies from course to course and different for different subjects) as the examination form payment which takes place before the exams. So that's all the charges you have to pay to get admission into Delhi University.

Campus Life

In my college, plenty of events take place on a daily basis. But our annual college event is called Crossroads. It takes place at the end of the year and is the best event. Our library has a fair share of it's book and you can basically find every book related to curriculum in there. A lot of sports and extracurricular activities are there in our college for student to choose from.

Admission

I applied to various other colleges including Symbiosis, Pune. I chose this college because first of all - it had the lowest fees, along with some of the best professors and education you can find in India. In my colleges, admissions are done through the CUET (common university entrance exam) and that's how I got in too.

Faculty

In a class of 50, we have 3 different faculty teachers for our core subjects. They are pretty approachable and friendly. All faculties are really friendly except the Botany Dept ones. They give you headaches. Students have to give 3 core subject exams, along with VAC, SEC AEC and GE. The level for these exams ranges from moderate to hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
