- Faculty is really great , very progressive college with diverse cultured people
- Many courses to offer , major and minor degrees can be done
- It is almost 50/50 ratio of girls and boys
Dislikes
- Management is very poor , exam department, teacher and program office not at all co ordinated , overall very bad management
- Infrastructure still in construction, very less accommodation, but over filled , very dusty environment no AC classrooms for the fee paid
Course Curriculum Overview
Some curriculum is very well structured but curriculum in the 1st year is nonsense, had random subjects which is not at all relevant to the course taken , only some subject prepares is to the real world , the undergrad curriculum is top MBA college based curriculum
Placement Experience
Campus placements is pathetic , whatever promised was never delivered, for 4 more years the college will have very bad placement. Out of 100 students only 5 got placed , very pathetic, after degree employment is there but not for major roles and High paying salary
Fees and Financial Aid
The course in 2021 was 2 lakh 6 thousand per year with scholarship upto 100000 for students above 90%. Currently it is 3 lakhs per year which includes tuition fee and exam fee , there is school of design which is 4.8 lakhs per year after exam , management upto 7 lakhs per year , bcom 2 lakhs . School of arts 5 lakhs, no reservation based fee
Campus Life
Clubs are very active, there is no fixed annual and technical fest as it is a new college , very small library, infrastructure is pathetic right now as everything is under construction, very dusty campus, sports is growing but not that great for any specific sport , alot of social group by the college itself
Admission
I wanted colleges nearby and joined this college other colleges entry was closed by the time i applied, new college still setting up , Admission process - first written exam Next round personal interview and selection very easy selection nothing different
Faculty
Some of the faculty are very great , very approachable, like professor Arun Kumar , diganta , veena , pushkarni , dwarika , best faculty and deans The dean of business is very arrogant towards students blames every mistake on the students even though the faculty is at fault . Prof samudra sen worst professor, very racist and degrading and doesn't teach anything in the class ,later blames the students . Grading is very great , 70% intenals and 30% exams , less stressful than other colleges grading, some subjects doesn't require exams it's just submission or projects
Interview Experience
Written test is there which rvsat , which will be easy after the exam there will be a pi , where there is no technical questions only personal and why the college, no prior preparation required for the admission rounds
