Likes
- The faculty is really friendly they health the third round students a lot as first classes had already begin by the time we joined.
- They do conduct a lot of educational events.
- They take really strict actions against ragging. I have never really heard of any ragging cases
Dislikes
- Since the course is new to this college I think they are experimenting on us.
- They don't let the students from Pg through the back gate which is so near to the college we have to come from the front gate and midst of all the dust on the roads!
- Feels a little bit hectica as we have just joined the college a month ago and we already have to give our mid terms.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was drawn to the curriculum's emphasis on programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. The curriculum does prepare me well for real-world applications, providing a solid foundation in theoretical concepts and practical assignments. They are a bit fast with the course in the first I feel
Internships Opportunities
Since I'm a fresher I have not really reached out for any internship but our college did informed us about many(including Wipro ) sources to learn skills required for internship. They also conduct many educational events for that.
Fees and Financial Aid
I came into CET counselling so my fees was just 107000, and they did it take a extra amount of 30000 as DD do it is not allowed by kea. As my senior told me they do provide scholarship for of 30000 for student so have CGPA above 9
Campus Life
They inform us about any event that is going to be conducted in the website or through announcement in the college. The conducted the sports day recently like a week ago. Arranged an event for Karnataka rajyotsava. They had arranged a skill development programme for us. All the classes are conducted to the people lecturers make the ppt and projector on screen they even have a smart screen. They do have a lot of student clubs and they do conduct auditions for that
Admission
I choose this college because it is part of RV College of engineering which is like the best college in Karnataka and they say that the campus placement will be together for both the colleges. I had got a Nie mysuru CSE in the second round but still waited for the third round and came to this college(which I could get in the first round as per my rank????) Admission through cet is well instructed by kea and the college too. They don't have any exam of their own yet.
Faculty
They have a decent number of faculty. They are really friendly and approachable! I don't really have any complaints on anyone from the faculty. They all are just really good at their job. They conduct three internals and seminars and group projects also have marks. As I heard from my senior a lot of students from biology background failed to clear their exams and only 27 out of 500 students got cgpa above 9 in first year!
Night Life
There's a cult gym her near my pg(Jv queens). Bengaluru is just filled with places to explore! I couldn't get the hostel as it was not vacant(150+girls waiting for hostel). But I would say this is not a safe place at night. At my pg the in time is 10:30 but for the hostel its early I guess.
