Likes

coaching is good and placements is also good.Main is everything is done on point.
extra curricular activities are provided with occupies students to participate in many competitions and earn their credits.
placement classes which will be held for every semester after 1st year.

Dislikes

the food is quite dissapointing as it contains too much of oil
buses some are given college busses some bmtc
college rules arent followed strictly sometimes

Our curriculum is bit like a express train where one sem finishes in just 4 to 3.5 months.Where our schedules is highly packed.and thing is college is they only provide internships for students.so 3 internals will conducted and 2 LA's and average will be taken as a total internal marks.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise the fee keeps increasing.So basically i paid around 2,65,000 lakhs as i was from management quota.The fee varies for different branches.Tuition fee was 3000,caution fee1000,registration fee 1700,lab fee 600,development fee 3000,compulsory fee is for Kcet its 91000 and for management its 2,65,000.And for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe its 26,000 and for other obc's 60,000.Scholarship depends on the categories and income it will be more benefial if the income is below 8-10lakhs.Merit and all at last it will be given.Financial aids are also available for the students.

Campus Life

Fests are held every year where in some colleges once in three years .the range of accessibility of books and journels available in the library where every type of books are available.many clubs are there in order to help students to be socially and technically active and built their knowlege and skills.

Admission

So this college was not in my list but fate brought me here.But after joining its actually different in every ascpect be in education,placements and in many other ways.so what went wrong was because of medical seat and i need to cancel and i even lost the seat which i got in my kcet councelling.

Faculty

Faculty and student relationship is actually really good.But some need some butter too get marks that i personally wont like.And one teacher i would to like to specify is Smitha Prabhu mam her way of teaching is awesome she makes students to go from zero to hero.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

I chose this college mainly as it is a deemed to be university and one of the top colleges in Bangalore. It's a autonomous college. There is a great advantage over other VTU colleges.
