From Campus to career: My collage review

1.)Firstly ,as I want to do some job in field of coding,this cirriculum is worth it.Being an entc student ,I was well exposed to basic programming languages like CPP,Java ,JS ,Python,C ,Data Structures,Dbms etc 2.)As far as real world applications are concerned,we have subjects like Project based learning and miniproject which allows the students to work in group and build a problems handling real life problems by applying what they have learnt on the project. 3.)Improvement should only be on assignments .I think a lot of time is wasted on writing assignments and we dont even learn that much.A lot of time is wasted in copying assignments from one another.

The companies visiting for internships are barclays, ibm, Wednesday, Arista Networks ,Mastercard ,NICE , BNY mellon etc. Highest stipend was offered by Barclays around 75000 Average 20k-30k stipend is offered The skills requires is DSA, DBMS, JAVA or CPP, Python.

1.)The students become eligible from 7th semester itself. 2.)The companies visiting our college are PhonePay,Infosys,Tcs,Cognizant,Barclays,Accenture,ZS assosiates ,HSBC,ACI,Toshiba ,Ion ,Searce etc 3.)Highest package is offered by phone pay around 33 lpaand the average package is 9lpa approx. 4.)Approx 94% of students get placed every year. 5,)My goal is to get an oncampus job and prepare for Gate exam as well.

1.)We have an annual event called Addiction in which students involve in traditional day,bollywood day ,singing ,dance and many cultural activities.It takes place around feb-march. 2.) In technical event ,we have Inc in which many real world projects are put on exhibition.It takes place around april. 3.)Each classroom is eqipped with a projector. 4.)Sports such as volleyball,cricket and football are encouraged. 5.)Many clubs such as IEEE,PISB,PCSB ,Debate club,Art club and NSS exist.

1.)I applied to Coep(entc and cs) ,pict(entc,IT and CE) and VIT(CE,entc and IT).I got admission in VIT college ,entc branch,after my cap round 1.In the next round I got PICT college ,ENTC branch. 2.)I choose this college because of the coding environment and the campus is surrounded by brilliant minds which paved a way for me to learn different things. 3.)I could not make it to Coep because my percentile was not that much for CE and entc branch 4.)In pict ,we get admission through jee mains or mhtcet 5.) the lowest cut off in mht cet for general category is:97 percentile and for jee mains is 93 percentile. 6.)After all the cap rounds ,we have to go to the college for our document verification and the admission is done.

1.)The faculty to student ratio is 1 teacher per 75 students 2.)The faculties are just above average.In terms of communication ,most of the teachers are welcoming. 3.)All faculties really helps students in every possible way 4.)3 exams are conducted per semester : Insems,Endsems and practical-insem is of 30 marks ,endsem is of 70 marks and practical marks vary on the subject. The number of students failing are very low .mostly everyone are able to clear it.
