Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum maybe tagged as quite old but the faculties are in full fledge to change it and make it more appropriate in terms of real life applications. The exams are conducted quaterly per semester, namely 2 UTs for 15 marks each and the End Semester examination for 60 marks.
Internships Opportunities
There are internship opportunities but not directly, you have to apply somewhere or may even contact your faculty for the same on it, but all you could do is and have guidance for your project and work under any faculty.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario I would say is quite decent and at the end it's if you keep things alligned and do important stuff daily I think it's quite eay to crack and recieve a good placement at the college level.
Fees and Financial Aid
So, starting with the college fees it is around 1.65 lakh per year which sums to around 7 lakh for the B.tech degree. But now as our college has now transformed to University the fees had increased to almost 2.65 for non computer science branches and 2.85 for computer science and related branches. At my time of admission there were various fee reductions for the reserved categories and also fee waiver for the meritorious students but now after gaining the university tag it is only the scholorship which would be considered for fee waiving facility.
Campus Life
My overall experience is great as I had joined the drama club in my very first year of college and I think initially it was my one of the main reasons to go to college everyday. But overall the clubs are great and supportive enough.
Hostel Facilities
Well I had not opted for the hostel services but have had heard from ny batchmates that it is good enough and even the facilities are quite at par. Even the food being good and hygenic so far. The room rent is quite high but still affordable.
Admission
Okkay so I chose this college because first it being hare in Nagpur itself as my hometown resides here, another it is indeed areputed college and studying here is kind of priveledge. Also the fact that I wasn't able to make it to other big colleges.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 per subject and if labs are considered then it often is 2:60, The faculty is much approachable and friendly. Not any particular but every faculty is good in his/her own way.
Interview Experience
No, there was not any kind of Group discussion, Interview questions or Written test for my admission at the college. The only basics were my MHT-CET percentile and nothing else for mr to get admission here.
