Course Curriculum Overview

There aren't much extra curricular activities in MBBS courses but we do ge medi loymipcs and Community health activities in our posting classes . Overall it's really good compared to all othe courses and colleges

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 20 lacs per annum with 10 percent increment every year. The Himachal quota gets it for 10 lacs per annum The reserved category gets it for 2 lacs per annum with no increment Hostel and message charges are separate and are compulsory

Campus Life

College life is fine the city is close by but the cab service is really expensive . The infrastructure seems to hold up with time and doesn't look old considering the college was made 11 years ago Sports are also good

Admission

The college is close to my house. I did not want to go very far from my house. I have heard good things about this institution. I know afew seniors from this institute. The faculty is nice. I got confirmed admission from this college. I chose this college over others since it was the closest to my house and the weather is good. No I did not get rejected from any other colleges that I applied to. The admission process is very self explanatory. the pre requisite is NEET up exam with you n ed to clear.

The faculty here is very good the are all govt college pass outs and teach really well The ratio is around 10 students to 1 There are total 4 tests in our college and we just have to pass in them . Good studies

INSIGHTFUL EVALUATION OF MAHARISHI MARKENDESHWAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL SOLAN

Course Curriculum Overview:

my cousins did their mbbs from this college and further my father's friends also refered this college. As i am doing mbbs therefore our college give us different scenario during our AETCOM ( attitude ethics and communication ) in which they ask us to perform a drama on the scenario and if we make any mistake during the performance they correct us and tell us what could have been the corect way. Our textbook also have different case studies on basic ethics. Our college conducts test every saturday for all the subjects that we have to appear in that year. Our college conducts 1st term , 2nd term and sent up examination. According to new NMC curriculum we are required to atleast score 50% in internal assessment. Then there are final examination after every year on the basis of which we are promoted to the next year.

I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. This is a new college started in 2016. I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Remarks:

Well the faculty is great and they are some of the best in entire state. But some buildings are old and need to be renovated. A new complex is under construction and hope to be operationalise by the end of the year.

I applied to IGMC shimla and SLBSMCH nerchowk . This college however had better academics and faculty. Yes i got rejected as i did not reach the cutoff for admission NEET UG. Admission is simple 3 counselling rounds decided by NTA. You need to reach a cutoff in NEET amd on the basis of marks you get admitted. Around 450 marks out of 720 and you are set....Read More

INSIGHTFUL EVALUATION OF MAHARISHI MARKENDESHWAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL SOLAN

I took the medical entrance exams NEET in 2022 in which i secured 477 out of 720 and a rank around 1 lakhs. I got government quota seat as i was a domiciled resident of himachal pradesh. Only domiciled resident of himachal pradesh can get the government quota seat. Students of different states can get admission through management quota. You can only get seat through NEET examination. After securing a rank in exams you have to register yourself on atal medical research institute website and then the candidate will be given the seat according to their ranks. For admission you require these documents: NEET score card, aadhaar card, birth certificate, 12 marksheet, character certificate, 10 marksheet, and domicile of himachal pradesh in case you are applying for government seat. If your father is a central government employe then you require a letter from your father's department to provr that he is a central government employe.
