Remarks

The education system and faculty of MMMCH SOLAN are excellent. The college is located in the hills so the environment and culture of the campus are decent. However the other facilities like sports, cultural activities and infrastructure is not that good. It's a good place from the educational point of view as there is no distractions in the campus. But there is no social life on the campus. But the campus is pretty safe and secure, and very disciplined. The administration facilities are good and the admission procedure is also very simple and the staff is always there for any queries or doubts. I preferred this college because the campus is pretty safer than any other colleges. Being a girl it was a very important part of my college research. The campus is beautiful and education system of the campus is overall very well. It is a great place for study as it has optimum conditions for healthy environment. It is very well connected to all the near by places and markets with every supply.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The MBBS course curriculum is based on the MCI guidelines and is also run in the college according to them. All the facilities and equipment are provided by the college for practical practice as well. The college has its own hospital so its very good for the clinical practice as well. Each department of the faculty has about 8-10 facility members for a batch of 150 students. The faculty of each department is great and very helpful. They never say no to a student. The exams are taken very seriously and timely. But the exam pattern is not that difficult or easy. The university exams have a mediocre level when it comes to difficulty levels.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is compulsory for all MBBS students after the completion of their studies. After the study of 4 and a half years, all the students have to do a compulsory internship of 1 year. This internship facility is provided by the college itself. Our college has its own hospital so its very easy for the interns to proceed further for internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of the MBBS doctors is only done after the completion of the course that is after 5-1/2 years not before that. The companies do not visit medical colleges for placement. You have to apply to different medical associated workplaces yourself or you can proceed for the higher studies. We have quite a high percentage of placement of students in the government sector. Many of our seniors have also got great results in the neet pg

Fees and Financial Aid

The MBBS course has a very high fee structure. and the fee of the course is increased by 10% every year . The fee is to be paid for 5 years. Being MBBS course the fee structure is about 13-15 lakhs yearly depending on the time of admission. The fee of the course varies according to the year of admission. After MBBS there are lot of job opportunities in the field of medicine.

Campus Life

2.5

The fest is not conducted in MMMCH Solan due to the infrastructure of the campus. The campus is located in the hills so it's difficult for us to conduct any fest in here but the fest are conducted in the MMU Ambala. We are also permitted to attend any fest we wish too and are given attendance for the same. Euphoria is the most preferred fest our college likes to visit, it is conducted by GMCH Chandigarh. All the books are available in the Library and are also issuable. The college has many associations likes MSAI, AIMSA, and many more. Along with that we also have many bands in campus and sports week is also organized once a year.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are in the campus and not far away from the college. The students are accommodations is on 2 students and 1 room basis. Each one of is has to share or room with 1 student. The hostels are fine and the food is also okay. The infrastructure of the hostel is not that good but is adjustable.

MBBS is some course I don't think I've to define, it's low-key a noble profession and worth the hardwork you'll be doing throughout past few years of NEET-ug preparation and 4.5 years of MBBS. And superiority complex among yo relatives, hahaha????

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs in itself is vast curriculum but it's interesting at the same time. We get to learn more about our body in first year through anatomy physiology and biochemistry. From second year onwards the preclinical subjects are more interesting one also the clinical postings make the cause much fun u got to see many patients and apply the bookish knowledge on the patients. Exams in mbbs are held from time to time which keep us going through the course very easily.
