Likes

Environment is good and interactive lot of extra curricular activities
Teaching staff if well qualified and supportive
Students from all over the nation enroll so learning new values everyday

Dislikes

Management is not the best specially in monsoon
Canteen food is not desirable as per taste however some students like it
Sports activities are not that much promoted

Course Curriculum Overview

Financial aspect was main that influenced me for the course . Curriculum proves true also for that as we learn practical application of costing taxation management and similar different aspects . Some scope of improvement would be there in methods of teaching practicaly rest is okay

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee is 15000 registeration fee was 1000 and no specific details about the further bifurcation of the fee neither i know about the fee for other categories . Financial assistance is available for EWS roughly 70% scholarship provided with some conditions

Campus Life

Campus is decent with not so much events happening but few are good . Technologically infrastructure is sound and up to date with smart classes and labs . Sports are however not soo much . There are some societies in college related to different social aspects

Admission

I didn't applied for colleges other than mine . Admission process is pretty much smooth eligibility is 12th standard cleared and CUET as per the course is different. Overall experience was good whole process was easy

Faculty

There are 2 teachers for 1 domain however exact faculty to student ratio would be unknown . Teachers are supportive and approachable. Few of best teachers are mrs mamta sujata and mr manoj . There are 2 semester exams and 2 internal exams and they are pretty much average

LIFE AS A DU SOL STUDENT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks. In 1st and 2nd round i doesn't get bcom. And in 3rd round i got SSNC with bcom but college disappointe me very much.
