Course Curriculum Overview

The chemical engineering course is very helpful and knowledgeable. The faculty frequently takes class test along with sessional and final exams . And the question usually involve what have beed taught at the class.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee during 1st semester was 16000 and then 14500 in 3rd semester and 5th semester.There are various scholarships like ishan Uday ,pragati and OBC St Sc .The amount for ishan Uday is 78000 and 50000 for pragati.

Campus Life

The annual technical festival is held every year named Technisia on March. Annual sports weeks is held every year also where students actively takes part in it. The facilities provided is very helpful to enhance the students knowledge.

Admission

I choose BBEC over any other college because I wanted to opt for btech in chemical. And I got the admission through cee exam.Also it was near to my hometown. The other college that I applied was AEC which comes under CEE I couldn't make to there because I freeze the seat in BBEC. The admission is done through cee exam which is state level engineering exam.The cutoff marks is usually 80-90

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 80:700. The faculties are very helpful and friendly.They are always ready to clear our doubts and actively encourage us. My personal favourite faculty is Maam Raveena Bora.She is very active and teaches very well.

You will get a campus placement in the uth semester and you have social, academic and industrial internships from college. The companies that visit are mentioned in the college website as it changes every year. Highest package is 8lpa that was provided in the year 2021. This year the highest package is 5lpa

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are very good. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . The unplaced students can go further studies like MS ,MTECH . The companies visited our college are atlassian ,Amazon,AWS ,optum, Myntra ,UBS ,Amadeus ,oracle ,sap labs ,mathworks ,Hpcl ,Bpcl,HUL, Goldman Sachs and many startups . The highest package offered by AWS 52 LPA.The average package is 10,00,000 to 12,00,000 for cse and it varies for different branches

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.
