Course Curriculum Overview
I took geography as my honors since this course have better scope in most of the competitive exams. In this course we almost study everything about India and other countries all over the world which give us an extra advantage while preparing for competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Kohima Science College is one of the best college in Nagaland compared with both private and government colleges. The fee structure is also affordable by almost everyone and give equal opportunity to all the students to study in this reputed college. Some other colleges collect more fees which all students cant afford to study in these colleges.
Campus Life
Our college have got NCC and NSS which help the college whenever the college needs any help they are always there to help out.The NSS clean the surroundings from college to every area to keep the surroundings clean. Almost all the books needed for the academics are available in the college library. The college also conducts sports and games which every student's enjoy taking part in it since the college give equal opportunity to every student's to participate.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are all well maintained and they even give solar when there is no light which helps the students to study with good environment at night time whenever light goes. The hostel fee is also less and almost affordable by almost every student's.
Admission
I applied at St Joseph's College Jakhama but later changed to Kohima Science College since the fee structure are also less and have good reputation and most of the best lectures are from this College which motivated me to study under them and pursue my career .
Faculty
For every each different departments there are many lectures and non working staff. They are all approachable and very friendly and also understand every student's concern and their needs whether in their studies or in any field. They are always ready to help the students to be successful in their careers.
