College has a pretty good infrastructure of the campus and good faculties.

Dislikes

The college bus in support any co curricular activities and does not provide any social events.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest the curriculum feels a bit outdated over the fact that still weightage is given to the other tickle academic cell knowledge rather than practical application. No in personal given with the industrial requirements.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year the fees was 75000 but subsequently the fees increased to 8500 for the successive semesters. The management also ask for the 100000 deposit at the time of admission which is given back once the courses completed.

Campus Life

The interactions with faculty is pretty good. The amount of social events conducted is very low. Value is given only to basketball and no other sports as promoted. There is no aid given to students who purse you performing arts.

Admission

The college is considered as one of the best private colleges in Thiruvananthapuram and it was much accessible to me from my home. Why I got admission into some colleges attend vit I had to drop it due to personal reasons.

Faculty

The activity to student ratio given us about 10 students per faculty and we are allowed to reach out to the at any time we require. The course structure is in such a way that the first year provides of an insight to engineering and give a base to what engineering requires from us. The second year gives us any insight towards what is civil engineering while the third year introduce to subject such as design which is one of the most important subjects in the entire syllabus. At the final year more weightage given to seminar and project.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

Mar baselios college review

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
