Large variety of books and journals are made available in the college library. A special app called etlab is used by both students and parents to monitor their performance.

Admission

This is the only college that provides biotechnology and biochemical engineering as a course. It's known as one of the best colleges for this particular course with with best placements and better faculties. I apply to many colleges like the CET, LBS, CUSAT, FISHERIES Kuttanad. Even though I got admission in LBS and CUSAT, The course I was selected to was civil engineering which I was not much interested in. Even though I really wanted to get admission in CET but because of higher competition I wasn't selected. Most preferred exam is kEAM conducted by the kerala government. Cut off is Within 20,000 for merit, and higher for others. Not much difficulty in admission process as there will be people to guide you through the same. Much easier to take admission as it takes only one day to complete it.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are very approcable, always reqdy to help us.i loved annie mam, for always supporting us.dhanya mam for always making us feel maths is very easy. Faculty i dont liked is our HOD cause he is our HOD nothing personal.but then he is a sweet person. We have 2 series exam for 50 marks and then final exam at the end. Exams are like sometimes easy but at the same next time may be difficult. Its unpredictable. But nothing is outof the box. Everything is from the syllabus.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
