Not enough sports activities we don't have much intra sport's meet
much focus of academic fields but not in extracellular fields

Course Curriculum Overview

Must introduced new methods of teaching with everchanging time. Our exams expands around nearly a month with practicals first and theory giving us enough time to prepare for the exam. We have Ggp method of grading. Our syllabus are vast but usually sometimes simplified by the faculty for our convenience.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Usually we don't have much internship programmes as compared to colleges in other states. Most of the students usually focus to give competitive exams or to pursue higher studies after graduation. In future i expect at least few companies to opdt for internship in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kohima science college offers bachelors and masters degree in various science disciples. We have all necessary facilities like library, indoor and outdoor stadium. We have faculties specialised in various fields of science. Our semester frees 20000 . We have well established NCC units both Army and Air wing. We have NSS Cell and various Culbs drama club, literary club, nature club , physics club and science club.

Campus Life

We have Winfeast the biggest of them all. It falls for one full week mainly in the month of December. Then we have origin feat celebrating cultural identities and acknowledging our cultural roots. Theb come freshers day and farewell.

Hostel Facilities

Three main hostel in the college. Three boys and one girls hostel. In addition one msc gurls pg hostel. It is affordable and acknowledged my many. We get enough food and declilouus food to eat. We have friendly contests between the hostels.

Admission

My aim was this college. I had no other college opted. I got selected in my first attempt. Usually the admission process is online. We don't have cutoff in entrance exams. It will be based on our perfou only

Faculty

We have well established facilities that have specialised in various fields of science. They just don't teach us but mentor and nurture us so that we may be prepared for future challenges. There are our 150 faculties in our college. Our lap assistant are genius

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject (Chemistry) because it is interesting in a way. We get to know many new things. The teachers doesn't care much about preparing us for any such pursuits. There is need for improvements in many curriculums and teaching methods. The class starts by 9AM in the morning and ends by 2:30PM in the afternoon.

Well, the curriculum had 0 impact on my decision like most students do? Like i said the curriculum has a good blend of all the topics a physics should should be good at and has a healthy number of important practicals as well to prepare us for the real world Well, i would adopt a modern method of teaching using slides and videos in a projector instead of the classic white board and pen especially for the topics of physics which require images and well drawn images and processes to fully understand it The frequency of exam is low.

A good college with well educated and friendly faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.

Kohima Science College is a peaceful environment where the faculties and the students can interact really well. I opted for this college only since its my dream to get into this autonomous college when i was a child, thats the reason i work hard to get into this college and for that the mark percentage should be good and i really did it. Most of the time there used to be entrance exam to get seat but fortunately it was according to percentage in my term so i apply for online application for admission and after a months i was selected so i did my admission there. The procedure for the admission are as follows: we have to submit all the necessary documents and write our name in the enrollment form, after that on moving ahead we have to choose our major, minor,MDC,and AEC, the hostel firm was also given on that day itself and the mode of payment was through online and for cash payment we have to go to bank near the college and pay there. After payment there was a session for identity card making and after that measurements for college uniform.
