Course Curriculum Overview

Nsut has good labs... And supportive teachers to learn the real life application of concepts, and you will have labs every week and you lab teacher will have 30 marks out of your 100 marks , that will depend on your viva, and labs practicals performed and mainted lab file.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

For a btech course of 4 years fees of 1st year was 2,34000 then for 2nd year it was 2,40000.... And it keep increasing every year. Fir sc, st,and obc scholarships are available by which they can can upto 2lakh rs refunded The admission in NSUT is via JAC delhi counselling so some initial 1000 rs are for jac registeration.and then after geating seat in first round u have to pay 95000 to secure your seat which will be later adjusted in your college fees... And other scholarships are if you top your batch then you will get 60-80k scholarship... I know this is expensive but yeah Nsut is one of the best engineering college so which also has good placements... So it is worth it in the end....

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest of NSUT is the famous fest moksha.... Last year sunidhi chauhan, king and raftar wer performing here Technical fest resonance... Which is also very awesome For involvement in college, societies organise nsut thon for freshers . Accesibilty of books are very easy all the required books are available in library which you can get easily by you I'd card. Nsut has a big sports ground , race track football ground, badminton court and gym table tennis room everything... They also organise winter sports between branches All the rooms for freshers are modern air conditioned with a capacity of more than 200 students

Admission

I applied for dtu, iiit delhi , nit delhi but I chose NSUT because fir tech placements NSUT is better I got rejected from iit's because I couldn't clear jee advanced but I scored enough in jee mains. To get admission in my college you have to crack jee mains .. then apply for jac delhi counselling. Follow the proces. And you will be allotted a seat .

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are good... They are highly educated ones .. so fir odd semesters we have 5. Subjects +1 nptel( course affiliated from IIT Madras). And for even semesters we have 6 subjects. Fir each subjects out of 100 marks 20 marks for midsems, 50 marks for endsem and 30 marks for practicals and internals . Each teacher has atmost 2-3 sections . And each section has 80 -100 students almost. Exams are moderate.. very few students get failed .. pr gets back which can cover in next alternate semester. The main faculty our college has women reservation so we do have better girls to boys ration comparing to other engineering colleges.Teachers here are helpful.... They teach well. But it is a fact that every engineer studies one day before exam so .. during exam time all previous year question papers and notes are arranged... Somehow... By cr or teachers... Most unique thing here is that end sem exams have have 10 question of 5 marks 2 question per unit And each sheet is checked by 5 teachers

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good for a college like DTU, situated at close proximity to industry hubs like Noida and Gurgaon, Last Season the college placed about 70% of its students with an average of 14 lakhs. and highest of 82.5 lakhs. students from 5th semesters are eligible for Training and placement, with fifth semester getting placed for internships, while 7th semester kids, are eligible to sit for the FTE roles and etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but not best during 2022 to 2024 current year ,I don't know properly but my seniors said that it is due to recession and also it affects IIT BOMBAY. If Recession will go then it has also good placement opportunities if you are skilled. Because DTU provide all branches in tech company if you are skilled in coding. Approx 100+ companies had came in past years .

Remarks:

I choose computer Science because of my interest in the same. The amount of knowledge dissipated to u is the best thing and also having 2-3 practice lab periods really help you make ready for industry. The college can offer internships to their students which would be of great help. There are no. Of opportunities in terms of events technical and non technical that take place.

Remarks:

The only downside of my college is that the hostels doesn't have enough capacity so only 25% are able to get hostels, others have to live in flat/pgs or commute daily and its located in Rohini so most people have to travel a lot to come to the university. There's nothing good around the campus to go to, nearest attraction is nsp or south campus.
