What Students Say

Likes

Thinks I liked include the lab facilities good condition computers vast area.
Library is also better international books are available mainly focusing on self improvement and self esteem
Placement classes and preparation starts from second year so its good and we can develop our skills from different club activities

Dislikes

Teacher student interaction is not that good ,I mean 2/5 teachers are friendly with the students
Only Focus on studies not external curricular activities like sports,arts etc
College Workshops are not that good compared to other, program conductivity is poor

They give is about one or less month for exam preparation but is isn't enough there is min 4 months for one semester its tough if you aren't going on with the teaching just study daily with context,and in real world the skills these guys are teaching isn't even comparable if you want to improve your skill you should seek workshop activities

Placement Experience

Companies like Infosys,Techno park give placements but it's lucky If one student got selection,I mean some guy even got 60lpa job but he isn't average it's tough for average students to get job and the preparation for aptitude test begins from Semester 3 so that we can do our best for the exam they really try to give us a good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

First of all It ain't that good or that bad,look the education provided here is high class and have good conditional labs but this college only focus on studies,I mean other curricular activities are provided here sports,arts,etc..but it ain't that considerable here.If you are opting for a enjoyable college life don't choose it but if you mainly focus on studies and want a better job then consider it (Placements are better than average).

Campus Life

The groupism in our class is funny I mean If you don't have money you are just a normy but If you have then you are friends with many but there is a fact that there are no poor students studying in this college,and the friends are good mostly of them are normal families

Admission

Mainly the destination of college from my home is less compared to other,I have rank of 5000 in Cusat exam means I can get even BTech Civil but I didn't choose it If you ask it was my biggest mistake in my entire life compared to the college I am studying Cusat is by far good(placements, teaching etc..)

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
