The courses set up and designed in a very cohesive manner. Only relevant topics and subjects are included. Most of the notes are available within the university campus and pretty specific books are recommended to study from.

It is mandatory for us to do atleast 2 internships for our final year. The university being indee the govt. sector helps us look for opportunities under this very sector. We have career placement cells as well.

I am pursuing BA LLB from UILS Panjab University Chandigarh. We have 10 semesters in total over the course of 5 years. Each year has 2 semesters. The fee structure for each semester (for general) is around 68140. Therefore the yearly fee comes to a sum of around 1,37,000. Examination fee is taken separately which is around 2100. Hostel Charges depends on one’s merit and the facilities available. The fee for the course usually does not vary much with time.

My overall experience here has been pretty smooth till now. There are societies within departments which one can become a part of. Co curriculum activities are pushed a lot. Sports is also pretty relevant.

I only applies to get into this college specifically cause the course was according to my needs. My main reason for choosing this course and college was the location. Chandigarh is pretty safe & sound as compared to other Indian cities. Also the exposure is good.

The faculty members are usually pretty helpful towards students. Semester wise exams are conducted. MSTs are revision tests which hold a weightage of 10 marks. Practical files & Presentations hold a weightage of 5 marks each. PU is more lenient in awarding marks as compared to other universities in Punjab. Most students don’t face much difficulty in passing and can even score good.
