Gurughasidas university insights

The course is designed to help us develop great understanding of english language and to understand every aspect of literature. Till now whatever we've covered in our syllabus has added so much into my life. I love discussing our class topics with my friends. I even took one of my friend to attend lecture of mine. Exam timings are generally around once in 6 months and they conduct tests in between. Difficulty level is moderate.

We were told to do summer internship this summer. I got enrolled in a news agency and worked for 45 days approx. Learned so many things. Then we were supposed to present a report of our internship with a presentation. It added confidence in me and It was my first experience as an intern.

This semester I paid 3300/- as my tution fees and at the time of my admission I paid additional fees of rupees 500/-. The total cost for the duration of my course is 20150/-. Some of my batchmates get scholarship on the basis of caste. And some get scholarship because they are from Jammu and Kashmir.

My best experience has been with fest conducted by our department known as AKSA. It's held after the new years generally. The library of our university is great and really big. You'll find everything there. The library consists of computer devices, air conditioning, and water and washroom facility. Library is one of my favourite places in tha campus. There are clubs for sports and extra curricular activities, they keep doing something or the other everytime.

The hostel facility is good. There have been some complaints about the quality of food. I stayed at hostel initially in my first year. The registration process was done. But due to some complaints regarding the mess food quality in the hostel. I shifted to the city side in New Sarkanda area.

I didn't apply for any other colleges. The process of admission in Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is through CUET UG for undergraduate programs. It's based on merit obtained in the exam. The cutoff is not that high. The admission experience is smooth. My admission took only one day and everything was done.

If I talk about my department's faculty members, they are like a family to me. I've discussed everything with them. They are very approachable, specially asst. Professor Dr. Neetu Baghel Ma'am. She's best among all the faculty members, she treats us like her own children. Also, our HOD Dr. Anurag Chouhan sir is too sweet. There's no one I don't like in my faculty. Everyone is well behaved and approachable.
