The college has claimed even 100% of placed students in earlier batches and makes sure each and every student makes it to a good company and kickstarts their career. The college also provides training especially for acing placement exams and interviews in the final year.

Average tuition fees per annum is around 3,50,000 which is 1,75,000 per semester. Then the hostel comes in three categories which were non-ac for somewhat 30,000 per semester ,ac(three bed) for 50,000 per semester and premium ac(two bed) for75,000 per semester. The mess fees were same for all hostel i.e 17,500 later revised to 22,500 per semester. Per semester exam registration fees were 1000/- and also some miscellaneous fees with that.

The campus life is one of the best and provides a vast range of activities to do. There are social groups and societies as per one's interest. There are sporting events held in the college. The college also has a vast range of facilities to offer like swimming pools, badminton courts, cricket stadiums, football stadium, hockey turf and indoor courts.

The hostels are spacious and well taken care of with 24*7 electricity and water supply. The rooms are cleaned every day and disinfected twice weekly. The food quality is decent enough with both veg and nonveg options, meals are provided 4 times a day and in adequate quantities.

Admission

I chose this college due to the teaching standards, overall academic assistance, the kind of infrastructure and amenities they provide. This college is one of the best private colleges in India with a wide range of alumni making it to the best of institutions around the globe. It provides a high career placement opportunity through its programs and ensures a good career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly comprhensive covering core subjects in the first two years and advanced electives like AI,cloud and Data analytics later, which influenced my decision to join. It balances theory with labs and projects, preparing students for real-world applications and higher studies. Exams are held twice a semester plus finals with moderate difficulty. Improvement is needed in making some courses ore practical and updating a few outdated topics.

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Remarks:

KIIT University is a heaven on earth for students. I would suggest. Please do apply for this university if you are interested and you won't regret. The only bad part, it's a private University. And people don't realize it's worth saying it's not a government University so they won't be able to provide jobs. It's a myth. Infrastructure and exposure wise this university is the best.
