There are the better cleaning in all hostels
There is no ragging like things in the college
All professors are very friendly . And helpful in study

Dislikes

Library is not open for 24 hours library open only 9AM - 5 PM
Mess food is not good some times it is good
Profess take exam gate level and not relief in marks marking

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from civil engg department .department is better than most of department .and they have 75% attendence criteria .so that you can not take any without any valid reason .otherwise you will not able give the End semester examination.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is better than most of all privet colleges and some nit's. And Professor prepare for student for IES and GATE so you can a govt job easily after your B.Tech .you can take placement in some dream company like Microsoft.

Institute fee = nil /0 rupees Because cast OBC income is less than 1 lakh Other charges = 500000/ year Hostel charges= 500000/ year Total = 100000 / year If you have income between 100000 to 500000 Then your fee - Institute = 68600/-

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very beautiful,you feel like privet colleges , college is situated in total 155 acres approx ,and all facilities are available to the college related to daily life my experience is that college is perfect in every field.

Hostel Facilities

There total 15 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel (approx ) and all hostel good for seniors but 1st year student will 2 student in single room room is only for one student but from 2nd year your room will be sufficient in size for two people.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

NIT jalandhar is govt college as we know .and admission process like this .you will appear in JEE mains exam and Take valid rank for this college .after this will complete jossa counselling as well as csab.

NIT Jalandhar

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

NIT Jalandhar is the only NIT college who has Textile Technology as its branch. So here itself the value is increased. If I compare other colleges with this with same branch and course then still NIT Jalandhar holds more value. To take admission in NIT Jalandhar, one has to clear JEE Mains with good percentile. Brief About NITJ

I applied for PEC, Chitkara, CU, LPU and NITJ. Out of which I could have enrolled in anyone except PEC. I choose NITJ cause of its low fee, better placements and good reputation. I got rejected from PEC (punjab engineering college) as my JEE percentile was not sufficient. For Btech admissin you need a valid Jee rank and students are enrolled through Jossa portal....Read More
