A Student's Perspective ( Chandigarh University ) in Review

This is the Era of Fully computerised enviroment and also i had interest in computers and their program i was always very curious to know more and more about them. In my curriculum it's not just about coding and computers and all there are some subjects Like Soft Skills,Communication Skills which also make us prepared for the real world problems and application. There is something called Worksheets these worksheets take so much time apart from studies so sometimes we are not able to study because of worksheets i would suggest that we should minimise some things like this so that we get plenty of time to study During semester each exam is conduted in every 1.5 months

6th Semester Students Become Eligible for Campus Placements Companies which comes in university - Amazon,Google , Microsoft,IBM, Adobe,Qualcomm etc they made offers from 10 LPA to 1 CR or more Highest Package was 54.75 LPA with international package 1.7 Cr Average Package 8LPA Percentage of students getting placed were more that 90% My plan after degree is to get a decent Package from a reputed company and get settled

semester wise Fees - 70000 Per Semester Because i Got 50% Scholarship On The bases of my 12th Percentage Which was above 90% During Registration I paid 5 thousand rupees Which were counted As tuition fee Means i Paid 5 Thousand during Registration Then When I paid my first Semester fee i paid 5 thousand less. There were students who got less scholarship and some who got scholarships like mine Also there is an opportunity to get 100% scholarship means You don't Have to pay any of the tution fee,this can be achieved by two ways , you can get it if you Have got More than 94 percent in Your 12th Standard , or You can Give CUCET Enterance Exam which is a fully online Exam You don't have to visit the campus. Let me share the Marks And Scholarship Structure For CUCET Enterance Exam CUCET Exam is Conducted in Two Phases ( 1 and 2 ) these are not two levels of this exam It's about Timeline Phase 1 ( October-April ) Phase 2 ( April-August ) Now the Scholarship Criteria : Phase 1 90.01 - 100 Marks : 100% Scholarship 80 - 90 Marks : 50% Scholarship 70 - 79.99 Marks : 40% Scholarship 60 - 69.99 Marks : 30% Scholarship 50 - 59.99 Marks : 25% Scholarship 40 - 49.99 Marks : 15% Scholarship Phase 2 : 90.01 - 100 Marks : 100% Scholarship 80 - 90 Marks : 40% Scholarship 70 - 79.99 Marks : 30% Scholarship 60 - 69.99 Marks : 20% Scholarship 50 - 59.99 Marks : 15% Scholarship 40 - 49.99 Marks : 10% Scholarship And That's All About Scholarships But to Continue Your Scholarship For Next Year You Have to Maintain 7.5 CGPA Otherwise you will lose The Scholarship.

CU Fest : This is one of the most prominent annual festivals at Chandigarh University , often featuring cultural events , competitions, and celebrity performances. It often occurs around April' Aaghaaz : A fresher's party welcoming new students , usually held at the beginning of the academic year , often in August or September. Heritage Festivals : Chandigarh University also celebrates various traditional and heritage festivals such as Baisakhi , typically held in April. CU-RHYTHMS Folklore : This Festival schowcase various folk dance forms and cultural expressions, for this specific month isn't consistently mentioned, but cultural events frequently occur throughout the year. International Youth Fest : This event brings together students from many countries for a celebration of cultures and talents. The Range and Accessibility of Books in Library :- According to Information Chandigarh University library contains 70,000 Physical Books. The Facilities and Technological provisions within the classrooms :- Smart Boards ,high-speed internet ,and ergonomic seating. Sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus :- Students can participate in various sports through dedicated facilities like a multi-purpose stadium,beyond sports ,there are numerous student clubs and events. there are student clubs, and social groups and this impacts their personality very positively.

I haven't applied for other colleges because i was convinced for the college only my some of the friends were already studying in this college they told me everything about is and i also researched so much about this college before admission. Also the number of companies visits for placement was large. Admission process was simple When you visit their website and you show interest for admission they gives you and personal counsellor Who tells you about the admission process sometime if you stuck in every step they do it for you. there are two processes 1 is 12th merit based which is a direct entry if you got above 90 percent in your 12th Standard and 2ND - CUCET Enterance exam which is compulsory for Non direct Admissions There is nothing like cutoff in this exam this is a selection based exam but you have to get more than 40% marks in this exam for scholarship.

There is no issue with Faculty Student Ratio There are Abundant Number of Teachers Present in the university,and teachers are easily Approachable i didn't faced any of the issue for approching any faculty till now. There Was A Faculty in my first Year of BE-CSE his name was Sachin Kumar He used to Teach me BEEE, He was really very supportive and very understanding person he never teach us just like students we were like their childrens as we were far from our family they were bad for bad students just to make them good and teach them good lessons not just about their subject also about life. I don't Know but there is no Faculty whom i don't Like I like them all they all are good There are 3 exams Which we give in Our Whole semester 1. Mid Semester Test 1 (Easy to moderate) 2. Mid Semester Test 2 (Easy to moderate ) 3. End semester Exam that's the final (moderate to tough) Very less Students Fails the exam In Mid semester Test less or sometimes zero students But some of them Fails the Final Exams

No,i had not faced any of the admission round for my admission, i got admission on the basis of my intermediate marks i got above 90 percent and due to this i got 50 percent Scholarship. Students who have score above 90 percent are eligible for Direct Admission with 50 percent of scholarship. Usually for admission students have to give the CUCET Entrance Exam. then Counselling then they gets Admission
