Hemant Meena's Review On IIT Bombay - Indian Institute Of Technology - [IITB], Mumbai

It's a top IIT college. Most of the students among AIR 1-100 get into this college. This college is the best among all IIT colleges.

I took the JEE entrance exam in 2011 and a good rank. I was interested in taking electrical engineering and on my rank, I can get IIT Bombay 5 year Electrical Engineering so I took that option and get it.

The course curriculum is well balanced, the first 2 years they build the structure then the main research topics come after 2nd year. We have varieties of courses one can do any type of course in any department.

It's not an internship. I have done a Project under my professor in which I have to simulate a queuing system and that was good.

As you know it's IIT Bombay, placements companies are looking forward to it. Job opportunities are very good. People get various kinds of jobs like software development, Management, Consultancy, Coding. Company's like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, and other big companies comes.

We have technical fest - Tech-fest Cultural fest - Mood Indigo. These events are very huge. Artist from other countries comes here to perform and to show their art. A huge no. of peoples come here to watch these artists from other colleges also. We invite famous bands to our Mood Indigo. At Tech-fest we invited peoples who give some presentations on new technology and other tech competitions are held there.

I think we have scholarships for a student with their low family income.

The gender ratio is huge I think it's 1:8. We conduct workshops on everything here like painting art, coding, tech-robotics. we have a huge campus with various kinds of people around it. We have also faculties houses on campus. We celebrate most of the festivals here. Ganpati Visarjan a huge festival here. I think there is no inequality on the basis of gender, race, religion, or any other thing. It has a good environment to enjoy your college life.

Hostels are good. up-to 3rd year we have to remain in doubles but it's okay after that we get our single room. Bathrooms are very clean. Mess food is best but you can get bore in some years, but at least we have breakfast and tiffin from which we can never

Seniors in college are very helpful even after they completed their degree. They always in touch with their juniors and also the college. Senior students help juniors with the challenges in college life, like in academics or sports and other events.

Faculties are highly qualified and very supportive. Faculties itself doing researches with students.
