Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was no doubt good during our time. We enjoyed oir college life. Some of the faculty teachers were so good that they helped us a lot. Which topics were hard to us, they solved it to us by clearing doubts. Its a good cllg for girls . The exam paper taken by college was moderate not so difficult. But the university paper sometime made us cry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is semester wise. There are different fees amount for different courses like for BA is different and Bsc is different. For practical subjects, the fees are also different. During my time , the fees was 2200 approx per semester and its 5000 approx in a year. There is scholarship available provided by the college so that you will get discounts on tuition fees. There is lab fees also practical subjects.

Campus Life

3

To be honest as we had joined during covid time, we didn't participated in any sports and activities during our whole college life nor we got any social. But the college has its gym facilitaty so sometimes we spent time there.

Admission

During my time of admission i filled the form of 7 colleges.. and in 5 college I choosed for myself were Muralidhar girls college, south calcutta girls college, jogesh chandra college,Heramba chandra college and asutosh college Out of these i preferred to choose Muralidhar girls college bcz the cllg reputation as a girls college is quiet good. The location was easy from me.

Faculty

3.5

Some faculty members are no doubt very good and very helpful to us. There are 6 faculty teacher in our department. I really liked R.B ma'am because her teaching skill is excellent. The exams are semester wise. As per the university, there will be internal exam , assignments and viva before the main semester exam.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
