THE FACULTY IS REALLY HELPFUL, AND NOT ONLY SOCIOLOGY DEPARTMENT, EVERY DEPARTMENT PROFESSORS ARE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP YOU.
MATERIALS REGARDING TOPICS BEING PROVIDED.

Dislikes

HONESTLY, THERE IS NOTHING TO HATE ABOUT THIS COLLEGE.
BUT THE SYLLABUS REMAINS INCOMPLETE, SO IT'S A LITTLE BIT PROBLEMATIC DURING EXAMS.
THE COLLEGE DIDN'T TOOK US TO ANY EXCURSION DURING THE WHOLE SEMESTER.

It has not only a single field related to society but it discuss about the various types and behaviours. My favorite semester where I gained more knowledge about new sociological manner was 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

I WAS IN SOCIOLOGY DEPARTMENT, TOTAL 3 YEARS COURSE FEES HAS BEEN TAKEN 14500 APPROX. SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SCHOLARSHIP, KANYA SHREE SCHOLARSHIP AND MANY OTHER GOVERNMENTAL SCHOLARSHIPS HAS BEEN PROVIDED.

Campus Life

My college life has come to an end, so it is little emotional while feeling proud, surreal and even great to be a part of my journey with MGC. Thank you for providing a wonderful and smooth experience throughout my journey.

Admission

The distance between MGC and my home is quite close (like of 10mins in auto). So as it is best for the ones who are interested in education and don't like to miss college. It is little difficult to get admitted into this college, but eventually it will be helpful for my nerdy mates. Do give it a try and dip into the ocean of knowledge.

My experience was quite better, regarding the teaching or any other way. Special mention to Aditi Ma'am, Anusuya Ma'am are both my favorites. They helped me throughout the course. I was doing a job at the end of semester and teachers have provided enough knowledge about the topics and helped me. I do really feel proud being a student of MGC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
