Affordable college in the mountains with good facilities

The courses offered by the college are good and teaching methods have good real life applications for jobs and higher studies The faculty of the ece department is very good both in nature and their field knowledge The teaching can be improved on some teachers end about less textbook info bus personal experiences The frequency of exams is understandable and difficulty is also not so high

Students are offered a range of companies for internships and other works like industrial training Students are taken every year to iit's for industrial training and internship opportunities In full 8th semester students get internships and go to other colleges or companies/industries for work

In campus placements are pretty good and many companies visit the campus for placements Students get packages according to their skills and merits Highest package of ece branch was around 22lakhs per annum and average is nearly 5-6 lakhs per annum Most of the students get placements and many opt for higher studies My plan is to do mba after btech degree

The fees for the college is pretty good and is paid at starting of the semester either online or by cash The fees for boys is around 32-33k per semester and for girls is half of that and for ph tfw and other candidates with fee waivers is also half of the boys all the fees is covered in it For ph tfw and girls and other fee waivers is around 10k without hostel for hostel is around 3k without one time security of 2k per semester Students can get scholarships to help them financially

There are main 2 fests every year namely twask and sangam but many small events and celebrations are held on events and festivals Library of college is good and contains books about all the courses and also has a computer section which has all the facilities like delnet and wifi service Classes are equipped with projectors and are maintained quite well Sport meet is held every sem in which many college play with each another in hptu hamirpur Many clubs are available to join to improve student life and give experience and knowledge

Only boys hostel is available as of now Rooms of hostel are pretty good and has the basic amenities like beds table lamps fans balconies almirahs study tables and chairs hostel is well maintained and washroom and toilets have showers and are cleaned regularly Mess quality if pretty good and taste is good compared to other colleges menu is also good and have many dishes daily Hostel is very affordable and process of registering is very easy and is done at time of admission or can be done in academics block

Jngec delivers for the Fee they provide band for the buck Fees of the college is not so much but the quality of education infrastructure and faculty is high One can get this college if they are not able to get in nit's or iit's To get admission in college and counselling is held in which students are given seats on basis of competitive exams like HPCET JEE MAINS CUET 50 percent of seats are given by HPCET and other 50 by JEE MAINS and CUET Getting admission is fairly easy

Faculty is quite well in number and ratio is good Most of the faculty members are very good and helping in nature and are very approachable for query's etc The teaching methods of teachers can be a bit subjective but most of the teachers are good There are 2 mid sem and one end sem exams in total with moderate difficulty
