The campus of Chandigarh university is reallly good
The hostel is good the food is good and rooms also
The infrastructure is really good and the building and the garden

The students are very irritating and rude
The hostel faculty is very rude and stupid

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very nice they will be providing you with soft skills course and workshop these are really fun in this branch . In first year you will have workshops and C language and a base of C++ language in second year you will have DSA and python with soft skills

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 120000 you will get a scholarship in cucet exam. I got 40% for 1 year after that you need to maintain the cgpa of 7.5 in first year or else your scholarship will be vanished. I got 7.6 cgpa so I m having my scholarship for second year.

Campus Life

I m in a club right now which is about crypto connect and this will help me more in my resume and the campus life is good I m a hosteller so I have time till 8:00 pm and the day scholar have time till 4:00 pm so it's really fun hanging out with college friends.

Admission

Admission process is very smooth. I personally opt this university because I got the scholarship here are this was very close to my hometown Delhi and the facilities were also really good I had talked to seniors over there

Faculty

The college faculty is good but in exams your paper will be checked by someone else like other faculty and he or she maybe strict and didact unnecessary marks sometimes but sometimes gives extra marks.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
