Highly educated teachers give us opportunity to work on research papers and patents.
Our Campus Life is excellent. Very big and beautiful campus with many extra curricular activities.
Our class rooms are clean and fully Air Conditioned

Dislikes

Our Canteen food is worst. Quality is not good.
Hostel food is also bad. Students of hostel order food from outside
Auditorium is old. Renovation required. Seminar hall is also old.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is multifold as it consists of multiple training from mentors from various industries. They give the real experience how things are going in the corporate. How do I get a job ready etc. Our exams are not so difficult if we attend all classes we can easily get a great marks.

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of companies that provide us internship. We got a chance to apply for internship in Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, Microsoft etc. There are industry funded projects on GEN. AI , Machine Learning and Dev Ops etc.

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. More than 120 companies visited and arround 98% placement ratio. Highest package is arround 20 LPA. I want to go for higher studies after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees will be arround 125000. Our caution fees is 10000. Other compulsory charges is exam fees for every semester which is 1000 and also there is charges for online courses which is compulsory to pass the exam.

Campus Life

Our cultural Fest name is EUPHONIOUS & ZYZZVA and tech fest name is Tesseract. In sports there are many sports events like JIS Samman, Alumni Sports and many more.There are clubs like Cyber Security, Google Developer Club, Coding Club,Drama club etc.

Admission

I have applied for Brainware University but it is not so good in terms of placements and the course. I didn't get any rejection from a college. Our college required min 70% marks in 10th and 10+2 th and qualification in exams like WBJEE ,JEE MAINS,CEE AMPAI with a good percentile.In WBJEE cut off is arround 60000

Faculty

Faculty members to student ratio is 1 teacher for 5 students.All teachers are so helpful. They engaged us on various projects. I like Tridip Chakraborty sir because as a mentor he did everything for us. He gave us various opportunities to excel in my life.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GNIT

I got selected into Jis kalyani, Guru Nanak, Brainware, SNU and Adamas University. The reason I chose this particular college is by checking their environment and their placement rates particularly in Btech, Another major reason for choosing this particular college was it's distance from my home, leaving me with a time to self study without exhausting myself everyday. I did get a rejection from Narula Institute of Technology Agarpara, and that was because of the booked slots already and besides my Wbjee score weren't that good to start with. The admission process is very simple yet effective. Firstly I had to call the admission officials and they gave us a date and asked us to meet them with few document such as my 10th and 12th marksheets along with my jee and Wbjee scores. Once we showed them our marks, they evaluated based upon my merit of 12th subjects and then I got a direct admission into the college. one could even get into the college through counselling if their jee marks are standard enough. the college takes your 12th, jee and Wbjee scores to get accepted in it and the overall admission experience was quite nice....Read More
