Remarks

College professors/ teaching staff, though few in nos, should desist from doing politics in the college.

Entrance Preview

JEE my rank was probably in the range of 700 this was a reputed college with all india fame.

Internships Opportunities

In our time we have got internship from the companies within durgapur and the stipend was good.

Placement Experience

Placement & job opportunities are good in our tear almost 70% students were placed many companies are coming like L &T, Telco, IT companies etc and their offer amount is handsome.

Cultural festivals held once in a year in January and its big one current students and alumnus are participating in it overall the experience is good.

Hostel facilities and food are good but in the 1 st year hostels quality of mess food sometimes is not satisfactory.

Alumni network must be more active.

Exam Structure

Generally it is a semester based exam and exams are taken after completion of six moths, however class tests are taken at regular interval so overall it was chilled out.

The standard of the faculty is very good overall the teaching standard is very good.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it . Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
