Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good, you will have an abundance of courses and you have to study those. The materials are relevant to the topics and helpful, the study materials are given by the college itself

Internships Opportunities

We have a variety of companies coming in cu for placement and internship, they gives internship to student and the average salary of 20000 per month Some of the companies are Infosys, wipro, Capgemini, amazon, Flipkart, decollete, etc.

Placement Experience

In the 6 semester, you will be eligible for the campus drive, these drives happen regularly those who are capable of getting jobs sit in this drive. Average placed students are 50-60. They run a tpp program in order to place the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fee structure for a four year program is 720000 for 2021 batch .However due to scholarships i have applied for my fees for four year pragram is 360000. I got 50 percent scholarship and this scholarship should be maintained by certain criteria. The college offers good placement opportunities to everyone. The average package is 5 lpa which is good as a fresher. Its placement is similar to lpu but the campus is crowdy, we have almost 5000 students in cse 4th year which makes placement difficult but you will get opportunities at the same time.

The college gives a very good return on investment. This college is decent and provides you with placement opportunities. I am not able to get iit or nit so I have opted for this seeing its fee structure. They will provide you with scholarships

Faculty

The faculty members are not that good, the teachers are those persons who studies master's in cu, they lack experience but some of the teachers are very supportive and help you in any situation. You have to study yourself.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
