Yes the college, as well as the management, is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the course curriculum is quite good and relevant very much industry oriented. The exam structures are also good. at regular intervals exams are held by which we can analyze ourselves and rectify ourselves. Exams are very much required to keep us in shape.

Placement Experience

Yes, placements are good enough and internships are also being given from here. Placements include various departments starting from sales and marketing, production, QA/QC, etc

College Events

From the day of admission, many events were witnessed like various Cultural programmes, College fest which includes many events such as innovative model presentation etc, College Reunion where we were very fortunate to meet our seniors who are well established, Seminars and Poster presentation And a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I got admitted in college, the admission fees was 20 Thousand and first semester's fees were 71Thousand both of this was given at the same time. Then the other three semester's fees include 71 thousand each semester. And if someone takes the hostel facilities than extra charges are applicable.

Fees and Financial Aid

If there is any problem in paying the college fees then a student can apply for the education loan.

Campus Life

They are good enough. Great campus life, the gender ratio is quite equal, almost no. Of boys and girls are the same, lots of extracurricular activities are there other than studies where students can excel, well-equipped labs and lots of sports activities as well.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are helpful enough. At present, they all are settled in any reputed organizations. So by talking to them, we can get ourselves familiar about the present scenario

Admission

Through PGET Counseling college was chosen, then another admission procedure was completed in college itself.2nd August 2018 the first class was held. First, a date will be given by the college within which one has to go, submit the required documents with the admission and first semester's fee.

Faculty

Knowledgeable and very much student friendly. Any kind of doubts they clear out in a very efficient way. They try their best possible way to make us understand each and every topic discussed in classes. They make complex and boring topics very much easy and interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacognosy stream has not been too much saturated yet. So job opportunity is very high. The teachers play huge role in placement in the industrial field as well as in the academic profession. They arrange seminars for students to make them aware about the reality of the world. Exams are taken as per PCI curriculum and the difficulty level is medium.

Remarks:

Positive-too good to learn and in hand experience Negative-some faculties are not too good to teach and some systems are not good in the college like only one placement i.e. if you attend one placementor one company interview and get the job you can not attend the other one.

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal.
