Remarks

I was admitted through the PGET examination which is an entrance exam of West Bengal University Of Technology (WBUT). I scored there 291. The first choice of mine was CIPT.So that I get the allotment in CIPT in Masters in Pharmaceutics.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am very confident and serious about Pharmaceutics. The faculty members are very talented I have no word to explain them. They are beyond imagination. The exam is similar to other state exams.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 158000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Being a first-semester student I did not know about internships in the company. But I am sure that college gives us the best internship and a good stipend from the company. I started many projects about Lysosomes, NDDS.

Placement Experience

Being a fresh student in CIPT I did not attempt any placement. But after the second semester, I want to sit in an interview. From senior, I knew that college gives us high package salaried posts like R&D, F&D, Production, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not apply for a scholarship. But the Scholarship facility seems to be there in CIPT. I give the semester fees in various time intervals. College did not give me pressure to give the exact semester fees at one time. I give the semester fees in installments.

Campus Life

Due to lockdown, I did not attempt any Function. But The important celebrations are celebrated online. There has a lot of journals and books in the library. Our college has a very big playground. Some social media is handled by our seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacognosy stream has not been too much saturated yet. So job opportunity is very high. The teachers play huge role in placement in the industrial field as well as in the academic profession. They arrange seminars for students to make them aware about the reality of the world. Exams are taken as per PCI curriculum and the difficulty level is medium.

Pharmacy education in my college

Remarks:

Positive-too good to learn and in hand experience Negative-some faculties are not too good to teach and some systems are not good in the college like only one placement i.e. if you attend one placementor one company interview and get the job you can not attend the other one.

Remarks:

Overall its a very excellent college. Must prefer for medical students. I secured a rank within top 100 in WBJEE to qualify for entry into this medical college. Since this is the topmost college, all other options were open to me.
