What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure of the collage is very impressive.
The extra curricular activities are also very good.
The greenery of the campus is also very nice.

Dislikes

The guards not allowing tripling in bikes is the main thing which i dont like..
The rude behavior of office staffs is also not acceptable
The dust in air due to continuous construction in campus is not tolerable.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculties are well experienced and very helpful, they always teach us like their son and the educational infrastructure is very well in our department. In the semester exam, the invigilator is very strict. The teaching quality is very standard.

I will not say there a no placement opportunities in our university in other departments there are good placement opportunities but in our course bcom there are very limited placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of bcom hons in ggu is- 1st sem - 4600 2nd sem - 2550 3rd sem - 3000 4th sem - 2550 5th sem - 3300 6th sem - 3850 There are multiple scholarships like state scholarship and national scholarship also..

Campus Life

The first year in college is always special. New place,new people,new culture .When i joined ggu, i found this place to be charismatic place to fullfill my dreams. I made sure i capture every moment so that it stays with me forever. I met some wonderful people who became my life lines. You gaze at your new classrooms,your labs and whole of your college campus. You make fun of the professsors and do unlimited fun at hostels.The first year in college is a time where strangers become friends,friends become family and Roommates become brothers.

Admission

The admission process is now very difficult due to CUET because nowadays the competition is very high to get into a central university all the students across india are willing to pursue courses in Central universities..

Faculty

Faculty are awesome, Campus provides good environment to student and everyone are so friendly with each other. All the students are cooperative and supportive. I like the most about this college is the big campus and their vision of being the best institution of choice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.

Best college in Raipur

Remarks:

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.

It's Location since it is located in Bilaspur and High court of Chhattisgarh is itself located here so internship and legal experience will be maximized. I applied for BHU but wouldn't able to make becoz of Cutoff . One can get admission in this college and course via giving Cuet exam with General Test paper. Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
