Course Curriculum Overview

3

The relevancy is not at par to be fair. There are many things which are theoretical but are not applicable in real life which makes our course a little out of date in comparison to real life practices.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for the first year was 18000 and for the second year it has been the same. The scholarship benefits maybe available for people with sc/st reservation but i am not quite sure about it as i have not applied for scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is quite good.many programs and festivals are held here. Students get enough opportunity to represent their speaking skills and increase confident and remove stage fear. Activites are held in group which enhance leadership qualities, teamwork etc.

Admission

The reason why i chose this college is because of easy admission process. I didn't apply to any other college and this was the only college i apllied to and columbia has a good reputation in raipur which was one of the reason i tried here directly.

Faculty

3

The bcom exams are held annually during the month of march or april. It is conducted by prsu. The faculty to student ratio in our course would be 1:10. The exams are quite easy and not hard to pass. Basic knowledge of commerce is enough.

Night Life

4

The college has a huge canteen and library where you'll get many food items available and for the library it has a huge and vast collection of books to choose from and the college itself pressure the student in a positive way s to go and issue books and increase their knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Preparation for Group disscussion and interview shold start.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.
