Course Curriculum Overview
The specific degree of Cyber Security offered was my main point in joining this course. Some subjects was helpful in the domain of Cyber Security. The course can be improved much more to sync to industry needs and jobs related to different fields of Cyber Security.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for internship placements from last semester. Companies like Synopsys based in Bangalore and other companies based in Kolkata comes for placement. Placement was offered by companies based on the interviews they took.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total cost is 310000 which was needed to be paid in installments per semester (310000/6). Other charges include university semester exam registration fees which was around 1300 per semester. Other small changes included of library books if you opt to,etc.
Campus Life
The campus life was good included co-curricular activities like sports competitions,etc. The college also organises yearly fest for different course batches and also a full college event every year. There were student bodies for each departments who took over to organise some of these events.
Admission
We had to give CET entrance examination which is taken by MAKAUT in online mode. But the main selection was based on class 12 marks obtained. The inclusion of the subject Computer Science in class 12 was given preference.
Faculty
The faculty was attentive and responsive to the students academic problems. Interaction was possible on every weekday except weekend and holidays. The faculty to student ratio was good as it allowed them to remember each students abilities.
