What Students Say

Likes

Good ambience is set in the college. there is a lot of space in the college and there are so many trees and plants
The lab is very wide and there is so many systems in the lab
There are some workshops and orientation classes going on

Dislikes

There is no programs conducting ..Only studying
Not giving fund to conduct program and criticizing students for poor teaching faculty
Faculties are very bad and they are not coming to the class

Fees and Financial Aid

My annual fees is 22000,As iam not from a wealthy family iam struggling to pay the fees..The faculty os not that good for the fees,There is add on fees like exam fee record fee sports fee etc. the caution deposit is 5000 rupees. The hostel fees is 6000 rupees per month..as iam not unable to pay the fees i dropped out from the hostel and moved to a pg now for 4500. The other students in my class os paying upto 90000 rupees per year...There is a scholarship for students but iam not eligible yet

Campus Life

They provide fund for christmas program. There os alse Onam celebration,Holy celebration,Iftar and other celebrations and also they do freshers day farewell day and arts day with college day also..There is so many clubs like IEDC club,NSS club and other clubs and they do activities and there is also so many associations for every branch

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very big but the food was very bad and not worth the 6000 rupees and we have to pay the rent for 6 months of total..the rented place iam residing now os worth for the mony and the food feels very homely..The place is also big

Admission

I attended keam and i got admitted to a college in munnar and i also wrote a scholarship in the current college i am studying and i got the 5th rank in that scholarship exam and my fee is reduced from 90000 to 22000. The exam was mentioned in the newspaper

Faculty

The faculties are young teachers who only passed m tech from the same college. Everyone is not bad but some of them are too bad just taking class through power point and criticizing students and not supporting them

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.

CET is known as the best college in Kerala so my first option was always this one. I did write jee arch. Though I qualified my percentile was not that great to get into IIT s or nit s.
