Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is excellent. Everything in forensic science honors is based on real-life experiences and facts. It would be nice if they added more practical work than theory to understand it better, otherwise, it's worth it.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fee is 2,50000, the same for the second year and the final year 2,15000 for honors and for professionals, it's 3,50000 overall for three years. No financial aid is provided. In general, it's very costly. There are scholarships for minorities.

Campus Life

Apart from studies we even had many other activities like the annual fest and other club activities. Study materials and other journals are easily available in the campus Library..which is a plus point. No need to go around looking for books.

Admission

The admission process was very easy. First was the entrance exam: the JET exam and then counselling. After which it was decided if eligible or not. Admission application forms are available online. No changes are required in the admission process

Faculty

The faculty was amazing!! Everyone was well educated and supportive. They helped us out when we had doubts and even took extra classes if we needed any help. They would be keen It was a great experience in Jain.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

My experience with Scaler School of Technology - A brief review

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Placement Experience:

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

Remarks:

Positive : Great university experience. Placements, infrastructure, pleasant environment, full security 24×7, no ragging, no politics. Negative: little bit congested area with only 46 acres of land. Bsc faculty members average teaching.

Remarks:
