Campus is just breathtaking and amazing.
Weather is so Pleasant that you don’t need A/C. Also amazing views
Very intense Academic curriculum making you better from state medical college

Dislikes

Vehicles not allowed for UG Students. Can use only bicycles
Not much in City to do. Very less city experience
Tough to walk sometimes as there is slope. Also mess food is devastating sometimes.

It was the feeling of helping and doing something for some of the needy ones As being aiims a highly competitive spirirt keeps me go on through the curriculum Can be more of SDLS and more about self learning then lectures or tutoring No the examination system is OK

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 5856 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for the whole course is 5856/- only. As Differentiation is not present but whole is 5856/- out of which there is security also 1400/- which is tefundable after course completion. And hostel fee 990/- included in 5856/-. Fees is same for all categories Only national scholarship program is avialable

Campus Life

Anual fest us Synichae which us held in Nov and sports week in around april. The library is spread across 2 floors. Books are currently being stocked Classeooms are highly equipped with advanced technologies and speakers Campus have cricket, football, tennis , basketball, volley ball court respectively well matted. Spic macakay club is coming for activities

Hostel Facilities

All the facilities are good in hostel. Gym equipped. 1 bed, cupboard, table chair, fan. Washrooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. The registration is done during time of admission with fees of 990/- in over 5 yrs.

Admission

Through Neet. Nta is the website you need to visit. 1500/- mostly application fee. Dates of exam is in first week sunday of may every year Frequency is 1 per year and the difficulty is very very high only 50000 get gov. Seats out of 2500000 students. Very competitive but good for the profession making foctors more competent

Faculty

Faculty ratio is mostly 1:10 or 1:15. As students is less there is one to one interaction among teachers and students Teachers are highly qualified and are appointed through interview process at Aiims Delhi. They are excellent mentors and researchers too. Teachers are very much approachable and easy to talk too about anything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs in itself is vast curriculum but it's interesting at the same time. We get to learn more about our body in first year through anatomy physiology and biochemistry. From second year onwards the preclinical subjects are more interesting one also the clinical postings make the cause much fun u got to see many patients and apply the bookish knowledge on the patients. Course Curriculum Overview:

my cousins did their mbbs from this college and further my father's friends also refered this college. As i am doing mbbs therefore our college give us different scenario during our AETCOM ( attitude ethics and communication ) in which they ask us to perform a drama on the scenario and if we make any mistake during the performance they correct us and tell us what could have been the corect way. Our textbook also have different case studies on basic ethics. Our college conducts test every saturday for all the subjects that we have to appear in that year. Our college conducts 1st term , 2nd term and sent up examination. According to new NMC curriculum we are required to atleast score 50% in internal assessment. Then there are final examination after every year on the basis of which we are promoted to the next year.

I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Remarks:

Well the faculty is great and they are some of the best in entire state. But some buildings are old and need to be renovated. A new complex is under construction and hope to be operationalise by the end of the year.

AIIMS BILASPUR

Prior to this, I applied in AIIMS New Delhi, MAMC, VMMC, AIIMS Rishikesh. Reason for rejection is simply cutoff marks for these colleges. Admission process needs 3-4 rounds of counselling. Exam you have to prepare for is NEET UG. Cutoff for this college is All India rank under 3000 otu of 26 lakh students....Read More

Getting admission in aiims you must be in top cream of neet ug examination i.e. conducted by nta. Then for admission you have ro paticipate in mcc counselling. My college aiims bilaspur has last year closing cut off as - General-2803 Obc-3799 ST-52297 Good aspects of aiims bilaspur acc.to me are 1)build in himachal so makes college life interesting 2) it is very clean and pollution and noise free 3)it's campus is very beautiful 4) good connectivity with big cities like chandigarh Disadvantages are 1) so many restrictions 2) new built therfore less clinical exposure 3) nothing else it is almost good For joining aiims bilaspur i participated in mcc counselling and joined some telegram channels for college information and choice filling etc ....Read More
