Remarks

College management is a bit strict and feels kind of distant from the student body.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE and i didn't remember my score i choose this college because it's one of the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's pretty good and somewhat related to research.

Placement Experience

Placement in the core companies is very limited when it comes to my branch. But it's good in other branches. Companies like Reliance, BPCL, Deloitte, ZS associates, Edelweiss, visited our campus in this month.

College Events

There are many club events like spectrum, LnD, DnD, and technical events like tathva, cultural fest "RAGAM".

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is changed during the last three years when I was joined first it's reasonable but now it's a bit expensive.

Loan facility is available from the SBI bank of our campus.

Campus life is very cool and greenish coming to the extracurricular activities sports are given good importance along with some technical club activities like robotics and automobiles.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are good in the newly constructed hostels but in some old hostels, the rooms are not properly ventilated. During first three years rooms are shared and in the final year it's single seated.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Senior students are helpful in supporting our studies in some cases.

Exam Structure

In one semester there is two term exams and one end semester exam.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. A student's perspective

Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
