From starting of 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Reshmi , Tata metalic, Aabasoft , Newamps, Vimal Fire , Indus net technologies, Byjus , Tech Mahindra, Gainwell, TCS, Explore and evolve Pvt Ltd , RKS engineering recruitment

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tuition fee was approx 3 Lakhs Rupees ....college takes fees from students in installments . The first year installment was less and after that every year tuition fees installment was increased by some percent

Campus Life

Every year Induction programme for the freshers. The technical fest of every year named Technophilla happens in the month of May/June. And all the cultural events also happens in Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering

Hostel facility was good. There was such a fun in hostel Life. Warden was also supportive Meal quality was average Have to register for the hostel to the faculty members they help students registering for the hostel

Computer science engineering course In our college was only available for those who gave exam Joint entrance and have to book seat by counselling by the rank of West Bengal Joint Entrance After that have to contact with college faculty and they will give a form and will assist you how to do the process of admission

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio was 1:10 .... It has a great impact on my learning experience...As there was not more students under one teacher we can reach to them for any query easily. And they also can teach us in a very good manner

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
