Remarks

Lack of placements and poor infrastructure are the main cons of the college. Quality faculty and cooperative administration are the main pros of the college. Industrial visits and camps are often happening

Entrance Preview

The college rankings were the very first criteria which grasped my attention. Another favoring factor is the mighty pretty Bengaluru. A pathway from a small town, my traverse to silicon city has been hectic and engaging. Like the usual, my expectations were high and in turn influenced by many achievers. Dream big is one phrase that stuck in my mind wherever I go, intending to serve the society in developing the infrastructure of the people, I chose myself into the civil field which in turn was a No.1 course in MVIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Basically, a technical-professional course is where you explore your mindset and learn something new. It's also a place where you learn how to put your knowledge into practical works. Application and implementation is basically to be learned successfully after engineering at Sir Mvit

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it does provide recommendations for various internships. Learning industrial requirements and exposure to such environments is what all we can earn through an internship. Experience has been really fantastic and furious, we have also been driven through some technical places like earthquake regulating centers and international airports.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are the only thing which MVIT lacks, though the college has reaped many accolades the companies visiting to hire are really less. I could see some 2-3 cores visiting the college in the last two years. Hope it gets increased in the coming days. You can also prove your mettle in IT firms which welcome aspirants from all branches

College Events

4

All the events of Mvit are 1) Kalanjali 2) Aadhar fest 3) Verve 4) Hongirana 5) Aisiri The major events among them is the hongirana - a kannada fest which is organised by hostel guys and lasts for three days where you can enjoy a lot. Kalanjali is the grandest fest of mvit whereas verve and aadhar are departments-driven fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is really competitive compared to another college. The college charges minimal fees of around 10K plus the KCET fees of 49K, other than this all expenses are for your textbooks and accessories. I believe MVIT is the most affordable academy in Bangaluru.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, complete support, guidance will be there from the college side. They assist you completely in claiming various scholarships and loan facilities. The banks trouble us a lot but college themselves have an assisted bank with them which eases the process and gifts you the loan

Campus Life

2

Dream big is one phrase that stuck in my mind wherever I go, intending to serve the society in developing the infrastructure of the people, I chose myself into the civil field which in turn was a No.1 course in MVIT. Having this big though, some facts like gender ratio and diversity irked me a lot but after mingling with friends I found nothing of that sorts in the campus. Therefore the campus life is hectic and enjoyable

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is another cofactor which favors MVIT, situated on the campus itself thou have really improvised the quality and standards day-to-day. Food quality is above average. Fees is really affordable compared to nearby places. Quality and standards have always remained high in Mvit

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is really good and engaging. They do guide you across the upcoming courses and way to study and prepare for entrance exams. Seniors do help by providing notes and sharing their valuable knowledge regarding the course. They have been really cooperative and engaging

Exam Structure

See this college is basically a VTU regulated one. Learning industrial requirements and exposure to such environments is what all we can earn through an internship. So, exam structure is really worse and I won't recommend those who want to score and get into higher studies.

Admission

I gave up the KCET exam, based on 12th marks and the above entrant exams I went through counseling and I opted to get in this college. The fees are around ?49500 per year. The admission process is really transparent and concise. Youll need to submit a set of all documents in college for registration. Then your data will be saved on the college database.

Faculty

3

Like I said before, application and development come by means of acquiring knowledge and updating ourselves on day-to-day. The faculty gives their best in nurturing a good student and updation and implementation of modern techniques in practical lives

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.
