The VESIT experience

Electronics and telecommunication before taking admission felt like I would be able to learn both hardware and software. The curriculum helped understand basics of electronics concept and basic subjects and apply it to learn extraordinary concepts.

Since I didn't sit for internships and placements so it would be unfair if I comment on these aspects however few good companies were, Saint Gobain, L&T, Selec control, Deloitte etc. I did an off-campus internship in Saint Gobain in Gujarat.

After the 5th semester students are eligible to apply and sit for placements as far as I remember the highest package given was 15 or 18LPA and the average was 5-6LPA. The placement statistics are available on the web portal of the college which is accurate. I sat for only a few core companies because of my preparing for higher studies.

The total fee on average for all 4 years per year would be around Rs.1,18,000 which seems pretty affordable however they offer 50% EWS relaxation at the college In my final year, we had a project on campus where I got to work with research students and understand industry-level software like Cadence

The college have pretty good technical societies ISA, IEEE etc. And also social awareness societies. The students and faculties work a lot to create a good experience during competition and also enhance learning however the technical festivals are not of the most top quality it seemed kind of boring most of times mostly because limited resources college provided to the societies

I personally took Electronics and Telecommunication at a score of 94.67 percentile in my MHTCET exam. When I had my admission processes going on it was a time of social distancing as we had a partial lockdown at that time but still, the process went very smoothly.

Not very sure of the ratio but definitely the faculties that we want to learn from even if he isn't related to the subject he teaches was very approachable and were ready to help with all their heart. Few teachers had a very interactive method of teaching which kept us engaged and motivated us to study.
