Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have chosen comprises of both hardware and software programming which was really helpful for my decision. The curriculum has labs based on our subjects that appy to real world. Teaching methods can include more of a practical or real time application of the subjects rather than focusing more on theory. Exams are rather frequent with a proper time .

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hikes on an yearly basis and also depends on the course chosen and the mode of admission to the college. 350000 is my complete cost. There are not much of scholarships or financial aids available in our college. Campus placements are excellent in the college.

Campus Life

There are two major events in the college one being the fest other ethic day which are held in the month of May and November respectively. There are large no. of books in library that can be accessed by students for reference. The classroom is provided with wifi and a sart board. There are extracurricular activities conducted by clubs in the college. There many clubs and also ncc and nss.

Admission

The course elegebility was based on the three core subjects in 10th and 12th standard which were, mathematics, chemistry, physics which were supposed to be above 70%. All the admission related information is there in the college website. The exams are rather frequent with not that sufficient time but manageable. They can announce prior before the admission starts.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good with respect to learning experience. Their teaching approach is unique, in a way that student can understand easily. Interaction with teachers is quite often, students can go speak to them in their cabin when they have a free time.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
