Remarks

every college will have its good and bad... if it is just one state then the outcome will be useless.

Entrance Preview

I feel the college was good with respect to staff, campus and nice place for everything.. Also the placement would be good. As i had an idea about the Jain Campus in Bangalore, opted this college expecting the same standard and atmosphere. I got to know this because we had college visit an year before joining this College on how exactly is the campus in details.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As this a separate university the course followed are different from other universities. For few subjects the course information was updated to meet the current market and industrial standards. now a days the institute is encouraging students to do multiple real time projects and uplift their skills.

Internships Opportunities

during out academic period, there was no internship opportunity with in campus. Not sure if these are implemented now.

Placement Experience

3

The placement was not that great in way back 2013. I am sure this statement is false now and they might be providing good number of opportunities now. As the institute has already been in the education field since quite sometime, they are able to get top companies now.

College Events

4.5

we had many events. every year college fest was organised. apart form that we had inter college competition which would be both technical and non technical. seminars and conferences were also organised. even we were allowed to participate in other college fest and activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

the initial fee structure in completely dependent on the mode of admission. the students admitted through KCET or ComedK will have the initial fee decided by its committee. if the student is admitted via management quota the fee is decided by the institute. Other than this all other expenses are same as other colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i have availed any scholarship / loan facility from the college. Also i am not aware of any such scholarship / loan facility offered

Campus Life

3.5

campus life - as mentioned above, the campus life was very good. gender ratio - gender ration is almost equal in many departments except in mechanical divisions. also we were able to see many students not only from districts format he same state but also from different states and countries What about extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates- all these were regularly conducted

Hostel Facilities

4.5

hostel facilities and mess food were good. variety of food was available. though i was not in hostel, i was able to see that standards and comforts available there. hostel and mess served veg food only. also the hostel was right next to the college building so there is no long way to travel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we have alumni network and everyone are connected to share words and thought. It is helpful for the ones who uses it.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as other universities. the complete course is of 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters. Each semester will have its own set of subjects. at the end of each semester we will have exams. also before the final exams we will have 3 internals. the sum of average of 3 internals (30%) and the final exam (70%) is the final score of the subject.

Admission

To enter this institution for engineering, the candidate has to be a Science student in their 2nd PU with subject combination like PCMB / PCMC / PCME. After that we need attended the KCET or ComedK exam. Based on our PCM score and KCET/Comedk score we are given a rank. on this rank i got a list of colleges where seats were available for me. for that list for my desired stream, i choose theirs institute. after confirmation we need to visit the college and complete the admission procedure by paying the fee.

Faculty

3

the current faculties are encouraging and have good knowledge on the subjects. they help in projecting our skills to the outside world and doesn't hesitate the share information. these faculty members are already industrial exposed and know actual values of the subject in the market

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
