Good faculty, infrastructure and a decent place with decent campus crowd.

The college is good but the faculty of some department is not good and placement is not also up to the mark. College management needs to become more strict as because of few disturbing elements college was unable to organize the fest last year.

I was qualified for Jee Mains with 123 marks. But due to low rank, I could not get my desired branch in the desired nit. My rank in WBJEE was good (3609) so I Chose CSE in Heritage. After doing lots of research on the internet I found that it is a good college. It is a top Private college in Kolkata. So I opted for this College.

The course doesn't teach computer science but only teaches those subject which is of no use. The things that I have learned in the first year is of no use to me as the software engineer. Moreover, there is no new technology is being taught to us only useless subject is there.

The college provides a facility to do an internship in several fields. There is a huge scope to do an internship in Abroad at NJIT, New Jersey, USA. Also, there is a stipend scheme for students belonging to below poverty level known as Tuition Waiver Scheme.

There is a scheme for students belonging to below poverty level known as Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. Also one can avail student loan from the bank. But there is NO loan facility offered by the college.

There is always a parliamentary debate on some topic.there is one playground to play and there is a college team for different sports. Campus life is awesome you are free here you don't have to wear uniform.faculty are somehow not so strict .labs are good and well furnished they are maintained well. there is no robotics competition held here. The gender ratio is about 10 boys to 4 girls.

There is no hostel and mess for boys in college .three are the only hostel for girls but all girls cannot be accompanied in girls hostel also .they don't provide good to them but it is very near. To college and less expensive so overall the mess for girls hostel is moderate and no boys hostel.

The Alumni network is formed recently in last few years. The alumni help financially as well as they play a role in the placement of students. The senior students are very helpful. They cooperated with notes, guided us to make correct choices of subjects and also in exam preparations.

Exams are tough as it is the autonomous body. the repeated question doesn't come.lab exam is taken very well there is no biasing. you need to have the concept to clear exams. They asked the good question based on the concept which requires proper knowledge.lab exams are conducted on the day when lab actually use to take place we have to give 2 lab exams on one day that becomes hectic.

My Rank in WBJEE was 3609. For Admission procedure, you will have to come to particular counseling centers located at several places in Kolkata. I came here two times for admission. At first round, I opted for seat floating. In the next round, I got CSE in Heritage. Counseling centers are only located in Kolkata.

Well qualified and knowledgeable professors. Every topic of the syllabus is covered in the class and detailed notes are given. Professors solve an ample amount of problems in the class to help students grasp the subject better. Projectors and slideshows are used wherever possible to make the subject matter more clear. Also, in case of any queries or doubts, students are free to contact the professor's for any sort of clarification, either in the department or via email. The course curriculum has been designed to meet the latest industry requirements. The curriculum helps students to not only excel professionally but also in competitive exams like GATE. There is also ample scope of pursuing research work under the guidance of professors.
