Likes
- One thing which I like most about our college is that the campus is built very differently. It gives us a sense of history through it’s walls and it’s corridors.
- There are various study clubs in our college which actually contribute so much to the social life of the students around the campus thus making college life actually interesting.
- Another one could be the staff, the faculty and the cleanliness around the campus. There is almost all facilities provided to the students. Every matter is taken into concern immediately and taken action upon.
Dislikes
- One thing which is on the bad part is I think the presence of too much monkeys around the campus. It is so difficult to take any food to the classroom from the canteen.
- The campus is somewhat smaller as compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is very nice here. I chose to do Bba from AUD as they are providing specialisation courses and works towards enhancing the personalities of the students and prepare them to go into the practical world of businessmen and entrepreneurs. Also the teaching methods are very interesting and not at all boring as they don't only deliver there teachings through books and notes but try to make it creative through presentations, field trips and creative tasks. The difficulty level of written exams is average as they are mostly based on your understanding and your attention paid in the lectures and tasks assigned to you. Also they take in business entrepeneurs funded by the government and enhance their talent through internships and other tasks.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees of this course is somewhat high as it is a professional course but on the other hand they provide fee waiver policy for students who have low family income. Also they provide scholarships. According to me, they should think about reducing the tuition fees as it may still be much high for many students.
Campus Life
There are many fests and cultural events which are held throughout the year. There are majorly two student run social study groups which contribute in events and fests which take place around the campus. There are also sports events and the classrooms and the infrastructure is also pretty good. All the classrooms are well ventilated and projectors are installed for presentations and lectures. One thing which is a drawback is shortage of classrooms which affects the availabilty of classrooms for lectures most of the times.
Admission
I got admission through CUET. One has to give the common entrance exam and apply on the universities' website for further process. After a few days, they release lists containing the names of selected students. This year the last date for registration is 31st july. As for reservation benefits, you need to have legitimate documents and then you can apply for the reservation application in which the cut off is much less than the non reservation candidates thus helping in the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty is pretty nice here and they are very co-operative and helpful. All the professors are very well educated and have great knowledge of the course and the practical life. They try their best to expose us to the practical world through creative tasks and trips. They are easily approachable through mails and if very important in the campus itself.
