- The overall campus is nice with lots of spaces and in between nature, peaceful and calm, and overall kalyani is a beautiful place also
- Hostel is also much better than any other government colleges, double sharing rooms with adequate space and clean as well
- Too much happening college life not let to get bore, lots of activities and programmes in college
Dislikes
- No proper canteen for girls hostelers it's bothering to arrange food everyday from outside here and there, there were temporary canteen for few months not the parmanent one
- There not so accessibility for everything at the proper location of the college, to get the necessities have to go a little far from the campus or the particular area
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically now a days in India medical field is one of the best career options both for earning and reputation point of view, but according to this course the students gather lots of theoretical knowledge through out the four year of course, there should be increased practical aspects more, visiting the wards, interaction with patients , ground level interaction is needed..
Internships Opportunities
After completing the four years of study and passing all the university exam college provides internship opportunities in own college, it's a nice opportunity for both learning and earning in early ages, just after completing the study, the stripen is around 30k
Fees and Financial Aid
West Bengal government colleges provides the lowest fees through out the India, the overall cost for 4 years approximately 30k-40k , and the best part is scholarship also provided through out the whole course, a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda scholarship 60k per year
Campus Life
As I mentioned earlier, the college life is too much happening because there are so many events, approximately one in a month, including academic fest, workshops, cultural fest, convocation, freshers, Saraswati Puja, white coat ceremony and many more
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room availability is good...the double sharing room and also provide a bed, study table and chair and an almirah, adequate air and light also passes, floor and washroom are cleaned regularly But the food availability and quantity is also too poor, not even a parmanent canteen we have
Admission
There is a entrance exam all over the India "NEET" the difficulty level is hard to moderate but the selection ratio is less than one percent, and also the reservation ratio is too much,I think it's okay to conduct this once in a year, but it will be nice if the states individually conduct a entrance examination along with this
Faculty
There are aqueduct faculties in each of the department, and also mentorship is provided for 10/12 students by a teacher. The overall experience of learning and relationships with teachers are good, but some of them are really in terrific in some condition obviously, but at the end of the day they always with us in any circumstances, and help personally also
