Course Curriculum Overview

At the college is affiliated to the sppu university so you find very ridiculous syallabus of study this along along with this you find less real application but the college atmosphere is very good and it gets its preparing student for the competition in the world's Technology

Internships Opportunities

Less internship opportunities provided by the campus which are on campus the various company BMC , Microsoft ,Google, master Card, Amdox visit for the campus for the internship opportunities but selection ratio is quite less

Fees and Financial Aid

The different scholarships are been provided for the underaged student asreservation is built based on the caste system also which is the economical reservation in the institute but the basic fee without reservation it's 100000 per candidate

As PICT campus is very small in size it's of 5 acres only also along with this curricular club suggest ACM, PASC ,GDSC,IEEE,CSI. Also there are very much extra curricular clubs such as the NSS, pictorial,Debshock and robotics with add on to the campus.

The admission process of the institute Central process with the help of the CAP round as of now there are 3 CAP round been conducted WHILE THE LAST ADMISSION ROUND IS THE SPOT ROUND ALSO ALONG WITH THE MANAGEMENT QUOTA AND NRI QUOTA PLAY MAJOR ROLE

All faculty members in the PICT Arvind qualified with qualification of the Mtech The faculty to the student ratio is 45 :1 while mental areasside to each student you can offer interact with teacher for clearing doubt and difficulty

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
