My experience in MVIT

The course curriculum is based on CBCS and VTU syllabus. It is really a very outdated syllabus and it does not meet the industry standards. Even a person who scored a CGPA of 9 can't get a good job because of that. The curriculum does notatch with the current requirement of education.

As I mentioned earlier, the placement provided is moderate and is decreasing day by day. There were only few companies visited this year and almost more than half students are not placed. After completion of the course, searching for a job is really hectic and challenging. I am facing the same situation and i don't wish to give this situation to anyone.

There is availability of scholarship like ssp and nsp for the desired students. And, they are really helpful in that case. The fee structure is also moderate and the hostel is really cheap when compared to other college hostels. The food provided is also good. The employment opportunities are really decreased year by year and it needs improvement from the placement department.

The infrastructure of the college is really good. The classrooms and labs are really good. There are several clubs including technical and cultural clubs. And there is an ngo xalled Abhikalpana which is a really good place if you like kids and want to teach them during weekends. The clubs are really very good in this college. They organise many events now and then and it's really enjoyable.

The hostel facility is really very nice. The rooms are large and there are beds, tables and chairs provided in the room. They will clean the corridars and washroom daily. Cleanliness is really great. The main issue was the monkeys which are now caught. But, there are few left and you should be cautious about them. The food is really good and the fee is not too high and affordable. There is bus facility daily from the hostel to college in the morning and afternoon. All the festivals are celebrated in the hostel and special food is also prepared. The snacks are really tasty which are served in the evening.

The admission procedure was really smooth. I got admitted through CET. I had scored 9k rank and got admitted under CET for ECE branch. The aspect that i didn't like is that the reservation given based on caste. Even a person who had 5 times more rank than me got admitted to the same course at a really low fee. It did not feel good.

The faculties have good qualification. Many of them are Phd holders and have experience in publishing many research papers. But, some of them don't know how to teach and they don't even bother the understanding of students. And many others are really kind and helpful to students. Some are friendly and keep good relationship woth kids. Principal is a resourceful person who considers the opinion of all students.
