Location: It is located in proper Kolkata
Infrastructure: infrastructure of these college is superb.
Lab equipment: Modern lab equipments are available

Dislikes

Campus size: campus size is lil bit small
Strictness of Attendance: you have to maintain 75% attendance in theory class and 80% attendance in practical class strictly
Patient load: Patient load is little bit less than other government medical colleges in West bengal

Course Curriculum Overview

It is totally under CBME curriculum. The full form of cbme is competency based medical education. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications and further academic pursuits is really awesome.

Internships Opportunities

You have to do internship in esic medical college itself under west bengal university of health science Stipend amount in internship is 28000 You have to give duty in each and every department in the hospital in a rotation manner

Placement Experience

You will get a sure internship after 4.5 years of this course Stipend amount of internship is arpund 28000 You have to do bond after 5.5 years of this course You will get around 1lakh as salary You can also skip bond by paying 5lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees per semester is 50000 Hostel fees is 4200 per year You will get stipend after 4.5 years The stipend amount is around 28000 There is 1 year bond also after 5.5 year Salary amount is around 1lakh in the bond period You can skip the bond by paying 500000

Campus life of esic medical college is really fabulous. Senior junior relationship is also great. Cultural fest is also organized around September to December month in each and every year Academic fest is also organized around December of every year Sports fest is also organized in every year Library is totally air conditioned Library is full of medical related books

Hostel Facilities

You will get single room from 2nd year onwards. Rooms are also available Hostel fees is 4200 per year Hostel is really very neat and clean In 1st year you will get a double sharing room But from 2nd year onwards you will get single room

Admission

You have to give NEET(National eligibility cum entrance test) to get admission in this college. NEET is a all india based medical entrance examination. You have to work really very hard to get selected in medical colleges After clearing NEET you have to apply through all india quota counseling(mcc) or state quota(wbmcc) counseling to get admission in this college

Faculty

Faculties are really great. They are very helpful and supportive. They also provide one to one mentorship. You can interact with them without any hesitation.. They are always ready to help you. The faculty to student ratio is also good

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

For getting admission to medical college, one has to qualify NEET UG and secure a decent rank for the admission process. Counseling for mobs course takes place on the MCC site and based on rank, category, and preference you are allowed college. For this ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE JOKA KOLKATA : Counseling by AQI, State quota, and IP (insure person) quota. Cutoff: it varies slightly year by year The application process is very simple, first register at the MCC site for counseling and get an allotment letter and then reach the allotted college and do the rest of the procedure asked by the college for the admission process.
